On the culminating day of its three-day anniversary celebration, Mindoro State University (MinSU) paid tribute to its dedicated faculty, staff, and retirees, recognizing their unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions to the institution. The highlight of the final day celebration was the awarding of plaques of recognition to service and loyalty awardees, as well as bidding farewell to retirees who have dedicated years of service to the university.


The ceremony was held with utmost pride and appreciation to the 32 loyalty and service awardees who have contributed spanning decades of their service, enriching the academic and administrative landscape of MinSU.


Also, in a touching moment of reflection, MinSU bid farewell to eight (8) retiring faculty and staff who have dedicated their careers to the advancement of education and the betterment of the university community. Among the retirees honored was the former and first University President Dr. Levy V. Arago Jr., whose distinguished career spanned 43 years of exemplary service and leadership in the government.


As the university community stood united in appreciation for the service and dedication of its esteemed awardees and retirees, it also served as a touching reminder of the enduring legacy of MinSU and the indelible mark left by those who have walked its halls with dedication and pride.


Present during the event were distinguished guests, Hon. Alfonso V. Umali, Jr., Congressman of 2nd District Oriental Mindoro, Hon. Juvelyn V. Gumal-in and Mr. Nelson B. Gabutero, Sr., Members, Board of Regents, Mr. Jeffrey C. Cruz, Director II of CSC Field Office – Oriental Mindoro, Hon. Michael K. Malaluan, Councilor, LGU-Bongabong and key officials and employees of MinSU from three campuses led by Dr. Christian Anthony C. Agutaya, OIC-University President.


The said awarding was held on March 15, 2024, at MinSU-Bongabong Campus, Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro.
