To prepare advanced ROTC cadet officers for leadership roles in the coming school year, the Advanced ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) for CL 41/42 was successfully held from June 21 to July 1 at Mindoro State University Main Campus (Victoria).
The 11-day summer camp brought together 74 advanced cadet officers for ARAPT from various colleges across Oriental Mindoro. Simultaneously, 128 participants completed the ROTC Summer Camp Training (RSCT) under the supervision of the 1701st Community Defense Center, led by LTC Ulysses S. Mendoza (INF) PA.
During the camp, trainees enhanced their knowledge and skills in map reading, civil-military operations (CMO), and marksmanship which are essential components of effective military leadership.
Today, July 1, MinSU hosted the Joint Closing Ceremony, with a warm welcome from Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, University President. The event was graced by Hon. Jennifer M. Cruz, Municipal Mayor of Pola and a reservist, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
After completing this rigorous training, the newly trained cadet officers are now ready to assist and lead fellow ROTC trainees for the upcoming school year.
