This was the core message delivered by Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, President of Mindoro State University (MinSU), during the New Students and Parents Orientation held on August 1, 2025, at the MinSU-Bongabong Campus.
It was both a reminder and a commitment that in every step of life’s many battles, MinSU stands with every student and parent.
The orientation welcomed students with diverse backgrounds, stories, and reasons for entering the university. Some came from distant places. Others were the first in their families to enter college. There were those who simply sought a way to rise from the hardships of life. Some returned to school despite their age—proof that it is never too late to dream and begin again. Among them were also students from Indigenous communities, carrying with them their rich culture, pride, and the aspiration to uplift their people through education.
Behind every face was a story about to begin at MinSU. Despite differences in origin and circumstance, they all shared one goal: to graduate, reach their dreams, and succeed.
More than just a routine university activity, the orientation was a promise - that as Academic Year 2025–2026 commences, MinSU stands ready to guide every student entering the gates of opportunity and hope.
As she concluded her message, Dr. Apostol firmly reaffirmed MinSU Bongabong Campus’ commitment to provide quality education, not merely because it is free, but because it is their solemn mission.
In times when dreams need to be pursued and battles must be faced, MinSU is more than just an institution, it becomes a home, a stronghold, and a steadfast ally for every student.
