The budget deliberations were led by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, together with CHED officials and presidents of various SUCs across the country. Furthermore, CHED pledged ₱7.8 billion through the Higher Education Development Fund (HEDF) in support of SUCs. The Lower House also earmarked ₱4.49 billion to augment allocations for the Free Higher Education (FHE) program.

Mindoro State University conveys its profound gratitude to CHED, the House Committee on Appropriations, and the budget sponsors for their steadfast support to the higher education sector and for recognizing the vital role of SUCs in national development.
