You are the heart of MinSU,” Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, University President as she officially addressed students at the start of the First Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 on August 4, 2025.

More than 10,000 MinSUans across the University’s campuses in Main (Victoria), Calapan City, and Bongabong began their academic journey this semester, including over 2,600 incoming freshmen eager to embark on their college life at MinSU.

The opening of classes was highlighted by a university-wide welcome program led by President Apostol, joined by key officials and the University Student Government to set the tone for another year of learning, service, and transformation.

Prior to the start of regular classes, the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) spearheaded student orientations across the campuses to help new and transferee students adapt to university life. During these sessions, President Apostol expressed her gratitude to both students and parents for choosing MinSU as their second home; and for giving their trust to the University to shape them and help them reach their dreams.

Different stories of hope emerged during the orientation as President Apostol engaged with students about their journeys before entering MinSU and their reasons for choosing the University. Their collective response: MinSU is their choice - a beacon of hope for learning.

With the start of classes, all three campuses now embark on their shared mission of molding young minds who will carry the MinSU spirit of excellence and service into the next generation.
