Mindoro State University–Bongabong Campus (MBC) celebrated its 61st Founding Anniversary with two days of festivities on September 19 and 24, 2025, carrying the theme “Serbisyo’t Karangalan: Puso, Dangal, Galing ng MinSU-Bongabong para sa Komunidad.”
The celebration opened with a Holy Mass led by Rev. Fr. Ariz Raymund Olan and messages from university leaders, including Dr. Dionisio Briñosa, MBC Student Affairs and Services Coordinator who inspired students to value teamwork, reminding them that collaboration makes the university stronger together. Competitions in digital art, singing, spelling, and quiz bee showcased student talent, while alumni, faculty, LGUs, and PNP partners were honored for their contributions.
Highlights of the second day included the silent drill of Batch SINAGTALA, where 68 Criminology Interns impressed the crowd with precision and discipline; a friendly basketball game between MBC faculty-student players and the Bongabong Municipal Police Station, which fostered camaraderie despite the competitive spirit; and a lively variety show where faculty and staff entertained the community with song, dance, and other talents.
United in pride, faith, and service, the MBC community proved once more that at 61, MinSU-Bongabong continues its enduring legacy of honor, excellence, and commitment to the community and the nation.
