From a simple idea of turning another fish viand into an exciting cuisine, selected MinSU students devised a business idea by marketing fish patties.
Remuel Damgasen, Lea Myren Canubas, Andrea Binay, Charles Kervin Bueno, Kristine Joy Briz and Marina del Rosario are 4th Year Entrepreneurship Students specialized in Farm Business at the MinSU Main Campus and the group who started the Clarm-K Fish Patty business.
For only PhP 55.00, they sell a tub of their fish patty in versions of tulingan, bangus and tilapia. Made from pure fish flesh, they process it with other ingredients to create the patty, which is not just easy to cook, but also affordable and tasty. Every tub has 6 fish patties (200 grams each).
Meanwhile, the fish heads that remain in their production are processed into amino acids to be used as fertilizer, making it not just budget-friendly, but also eco-friendly. Their group also has their own Facebook page where people can contact them regarding their product: https://web.facebook.com/clarmkfishpatty.
Their idea is the culmination of their business plan proposal back in their Third Year and now, they are implementing their plans as startup business to fully immerse themselves as entrepreneurs.
At Mindoro State University, every innovation is a product of dedicated hard work, determination and sacrifices of our dear MinSUans that are made ready to be globally competitive and innovative.
