The Mindoro State University (MinSU)–Bongabong Campus ROTC Unit successfully held its 12th Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Meeting on October 25, 2025, marking another milestone in fostering discipline, leadership, and camaraderie among its cadet officers and aspiring leaders.
Spearheaded by Brigade Corps Commander C/LTC Sheila Mae R. Cuz, 1CL, and conducted under the supervision of Sgt. James Mark A. Fajutag, Tactical NCO, the activity gathered cadet officers and trainees for a day of intensive training and skill-building.
The session began with a refresher on the “Manual of Arms” and “Pass and Review” drills, led by Brigade S3 Operation Officer C/MAJ Kurt Dhaniel G. Amoin, 1CL. These exercises reinforced precision, coordination, and discipline—core values integral to military training and leadership.
In the evening, participants engaged in Company Drills, designed to deepen their understanding of command execution and teamwork in real-field scenarios. The cadets demonstrated dedication and determination as they refined their technical and tactical competencies throughout the rigorous training schedule.
Beyond drills and formations, the 12th SOP Meeting served as a platform to instill leadership, responsibility, and resilience, empowering cadets to embody the ideals of service and excellence both in military and civilian life.
The program concluded with the Termination of Activities, Prior to Sleep (TAPS) at 2200H (10:00 PM), symbolizing the discipline and structure that define the ROTC tradition.
Through continuous training and guidance, the MinSU–Bongabong Campus ROTC Unit remains steadfast in its mission to mold competent, disciplined, and service-oriented leaders—true to the values of Mindoro State University and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
