A testament to the power of creativity, collaboration, and science-driven innovation, Project MOSES powered by GENESIS proudly marks another milestone as it earns the Bronze Innovation Award at the InnoVenta 2025 Pitching Challenge, held on October 24, 2025, at Batangas State University – The National Engineering University, Alangilan Campus.

Among 50 remarkable technologies from across the nation, Project MOSES emerged as one of the 14 final qualifiers, proving its potential to transform local innovation into real-world impact.

Developed with the goal of strengthening community resilience through science and technology, Project MOSES (Monitoring System for Environmental Safety) demonstrates how homegrown research can lead to sustainable, practical solutions addressing climate challenges and disaster preparedness.

Through the dedicated efforts of the team, the project showcased how innovation thrives when guided by purpose — bridging the gap between research and societal need.

“This recognition underscores our mission to create technologies that serve people and communities,” shared the project team. “It reflects the collaborative effort of innovators, mentors, and institutions who believe in science as a tool for resilience.”

The InnoVenta 2025 Pitching Challenge serves as a national platform connecting Filipino innovators, investors, industry partners, and local government units, translating groundbreaking research into sustainable enterprises and impact-driven solutions.

The achievement of Project MOSES was made possible through the invaluable support of the Mindoro State University (MinSU), DOST-MIMAROPA, PSTO-Oriental Mindoro, the Department of Economy Planning and Development, and the MinSU Research, Innovation, Technology, and Extension (RITE) office.

This Bronze Innovation Award not only highlights Project MOSES’s ingenuity but also reaffirms MinSU’s growing role as a catalyst for innovation, sustainability, and national development — turning ideas into impact, and research into resilience.
