As part of the SInTEC celebration, the BTVTED and BTLED programs of MinSU Calapan Campus reopened Kubyertos, their student-led bar and restaurant, yesterday, December 10. This time housed in a simple classroom creatively transformed into a vibrant and inviting dining space.
The upgraded setup showcases the collective craftsmanship, innovation, and teamwork of students from all majors. Managed under the Food Service Management major, Kubyertos offers a full menu of student-prepared pasta, rice meals, snacks, coffee, mocktails, and cocktails.
More than a showcase of talent, the pop-up restaurant serves as hands-on training that prepares students to be future-ready by giving them real workplace experience in culinary production, service, and operations management.
Kubyertos officially opened yesterday during the launch of SInTEC, led by University President Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol and Dr. Wilma Lontoc, CTE Dean. University officials and several MinSU employees, were among the first to enjoy the experience.
Kubyertos is open to all students and employees throughout the duration of SInTEC, offering not just food but an experience that highlights the passion, talent, and service excellence of BTVTED and BTLED students.
