Joena Mae P. De Claro, a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate from Mindoro State University (MinSU) Main Campus, brought pride to the University after securing Top 9 in the September and November 2025 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT), posting an outstanding 93.20% rating as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
This marks the very first topnotcher from the College of Teacher Education (CTE) Main Campus, strengthening MinSU’s growing reputation in teacher education. To date, the CTE now has a total of three (3) topnotchers across the three campuses of MinSU.
The PRC announced that 21,967 elementary teachers out of 43,035 examinees (51.04%) and 57,729 secondary teachers out of 79,493 examinees (72.62%) passed this year’s examination conducted on September 21, 2025, and November 30, 2025.
Across campuses, MinSU registered commendable results in both the elementary and secondary LET categories. Among Bachelor of Secondary Education first-time takers, MinSU Main Campus performed highest at 95.74%, followed by Calapan City Campus at 91.50 percent, and Bongabong Campus at 66.6%. In overall performance, Main Campus posted 91.84%, Calapan City Campus 91.47%, and Bongabong Campus 41.94%.
For the Bachelor of Elementary Education, first-time takers from MinSU Main Campus achieved 92.86%, while Bongabong Campus posted 83.33%, with overall ratings of 92.86 percent and 54.55%, respectively.
University officials commended the performance of its graduates, noting that the results reflect MinSU’s ongoing efforts to enhance academic quality, professional training, and teacher readiness.
MinSU’s consistently high licensure performance, coupled with a Top 10 national placement, reinforces the University’s commitment to producing competent educators who will serve both the region and the nation.
