Mindoro State University marked its 5th Year Anniversary of universityhood on March 16, 2026 with a shared goal to celebrate the milestone of the University's proud achievements. To open the momentous occasion, employees, key officials, students and visitors gathered together for the Ecumenical Service at the Student Activity Center, MinSU Calapan City Campus.
The service brought together representatives from different religious communities, reflecting the University’s commitment to inclusivity and respect for diverse faith traditions. Leaders and members of various religions offered prayers and blessings for the institution, its stakeholders, and the entire MinSU community.
As MinSU looks forward to the next chapter of its journey, the service underscored the importance of unity in diversity—a principle that continues to shape the University’s path toward excellence in education, research, and community engagement.
The Ecumenical Service set a reflective tone for the day’s celebration, reminding participants that the foundation of MinSU’s progress is grounded in shared values, mutual respect, and collective purpose. Students, faculty, and staff alike participated, creating a harmonious atmosphere where gratitude and hope were at the forefront.
The anniversary celebration continued with a series of vibrant activities, including the Unity Parade, University Exhibit, Zumba and Modern Dance Competitions, and the highlight Gawad Parangal, ensuring that MinSU’s fifth year of universityhood is marked by both reflection and celebration.
