As Mindoro State University celebrated its 5th Year Anniversary of universityhood, the host campus, Calapan City, officially launched the opening of the University Exhibit, housing several innovations, arts and services of various colleges in the University.
Through a ceremonial ribbon-cutting activity, MinSU, led by University President, Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol and key officials, officially opened the University Exhibit located at the Calapan City Campus Library on March 16, 2026.
The exhibit became a vibrant arena where each college presented its strongest identity—transforming booths into immersive experiences that reflected their expertise, culture, and ingenuity.
The College of Business and Management energized the crowd with its own snacks and drinks bar, demonstrating not only business acumen but also hospitality and entrepreneurial flair. The Institute of Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering showcased a unique blend of tradition and technology through its banana wine, interactive puzzles, and a 3D printer—capturing the intersection of innovation and applied science.
Meanwhile, the College of Arts and Sciences highlighted indigenous products, proudly promoting local culture and heritage, and the College of Criminal Justice Education drew attention with its investigative tools—offering a glimpse into the precision and discipline behind law enforcement practices.
Other colleges also participated and brought out various spectacles for the audience to see and experience, such as the College of Teacher Education through their Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education (BTVTED) and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTVLED) offered scientific games like buzz wire game; and the Institute of Fisheries displayed various fish preserved products; and the College of Computer Studies proudly exhibited various technologies they invented.
Each booth, though different in nature, stood out to bring MinSU's collective identity - a brand of excellence, innovation and community service.
