The celebration of the 5th Year of Universityhood of Mindoro State University turned into a full-scale showcase of talent as the Main, Calapan City, and Bongabong campuses went head-to-head in a series of high-energy competitions.
From the opening beats of the Zumba and Modern Dance Competitions, it was clear—this was not just participation, this was pride in motion. Each campus brought intensity, precision, and presence to the floor. Performances were tightly matched, making it a difficult call for the judges. In the end, Bongabong Campus dominated both categories, taking first place, followed by Calapan City Campus, with Main Campus finishing third.
The momentum carried into the Battle of the Bands, where sound and style defined the stage. Each campus carved its own identity through music, but it was Calapan City Campus that rose above the rest, securing first place. Bongabong Campus followed in second, while Main Campus placed third.
In the vocal arena, the Pop Solo Singing Competition delivered power and emotion. Bongabong Campus once again claimed the top spot, with Main Campus in second and Calapan City Campus in third. The Pop Duet Singing Competition highlighted chemistry and control, with Bongabong Campus emerging first and Calapan City Campus taking second place.
Across all categories, one thing stood out: the margins were close, and the talent was undeniable. Rankings may have been decided, but the performances spoke of something bigger—a shared standard of excellence across all campuses.
This was more than a competition. It was a statement. MinSU talent is not confined to one campus—it thrives in all.
