Mindoro State University’s Innovative Business Incubator for Biosystems Solutions (i-BIBES) successfully completed its two-day Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Policy Workshop on May 14-15, 2026, reinforcing the University’s commitment to building a stronger, more sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region.
The workshop gathered stakeholders, incubatees, and partner agencies to strengthen the operational guidelines and strategic direction of MinSU’s Technology Business Incubator. Discussions focused on improving incubation systems, enhancing institutional support for startups and innovators, and aligning University initiatives with national innovation and technology development goals.
Mr. Jacinto Asuncion, Jr., Country Manager at BetterPay and expert in Enablement and Culture Development; and Ms. Rochel Montero from DOST-MIMAROPA led the sessions and shared insights on incubation management, organizational development, and innovation-driven collaboration.
As MinSU continues to advocate for innovation and capacitate incubatees with proper knowledge and training, the cogs of learning continue to spin as more budding professionals progress in their crafts and in starting their own business.
