MinSU Strengthens Innovation Agenda at UP Innovation Summit 2026

Mindoro State University further advanced its innovation and technology transfer initiatives in its participation in the Inoblasyon: UP Innovation Summit 2026 and the KTTO-IMPACT NXT Presidents Forum held in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig on May 5–7, 2026.

Engr. Randy A. Joco, Director for Innovation, and Mr. James C. Gullon, Portfolio Officer of MinSU i-BIBES represented the University, together with other innovation leaders, researchers, and partner institutions from across the country for high-level discussions on innovation, technology transfer, and startup development.

As one of the 26 HIHEIRIT universities supported by DOST-PCIEERD, MinSU participated in strategic sessions focused on innovation clusters in agri-tech, artificial intelligence, and sustainable resources. The summit also highlighted sustainable technology transfer systems and commercial readiness frameworks aimed at transforming research outputs into market-ready solutions with real community impact.

Aligned with the B.U.I.L.T. Framework, the University reinforces its commitment to continue to uplift our Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO) and TBI capabilities to better serve our student founders and local MSMEs.
