The vision has a name, and now that name is protected.
The LIFTMINSU logo has been officially granted a Certificate of Trademark Registration by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL). Registered on April 23, 2026, the trademark carries a term of protection of 10 years, valid until April 18, 2036, a fitting milestone for a university on the rise.
Conceived through the initiative of Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol, University President LIFTMINSU is far more than a logo. It is a development goal aimed at advancing institutional growth and excellence through the framework encapsulated in the acronym LIFTMINSU – Leadership Excellence, Inclusivity, Fiscal Prudence, Technological Advancement, Management of Resources, Innovation, Network of Collaborative Partnerships, Sustainability, and Upward Mobility.
It is a living mantra, a declaration of purpose, and a rallying call to action.
It carries with it a promise: to make Mindoro State University the Region's University of Choice, not as a distant aspiration, but as a tangible commitment to every student, faculty member, staff member, and stakeholder who has placed their trust in this institution.
The trademark registration was facilitated by MinSU i-BIBES under the Office of Innovation of the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, Technology, and Extension (OVPRITE), with invaluable guidance from DOST-Oriental Mindoro through Project ISIP, ensuring this identity is legally safeguarded as MinSU scales new heights.
