As part of its continuing efforts to enhance employee welfare and campus operations, Mindoro State University – Main Campus blessed new employee-centered facilities and upgraded institutional assets on May 28, 2026, aimed at strengthening workplace well-being and operational efficiency across its campuses.
The university recently blessed its new Administrative Building façade and Staff Lounge, which features premium electronic massage chairs designed to provide faculty members and administrative personnel with a dedicated space for rest and relaxation amid academic and office workloads.
Alongside these developments, MinSU also blessed the soon-to-be-completed renovation of campus comfort rooms, featuring modern fixtures, improved ventilation systems, and upgraded sanitation facilities to promote cleanliness, comfort, and better health standards within the university.
MinSU likewise officially turned over its newly acquired fleet of service vehicles to support mobility requirements for extension services, field research activities, and administrative coordination across its multi-campus operations.
The blessing of the new and renovated facilities, as well as the service vehicles, was led by Matthew M. Marasigan, joined by Enya Marie D. Apostol, university officials, faculty members, and staff.
During the ceremony, Fr. Marasigan conducted a blessing rite over the Staff Lounge and the lined-up vehicles, offering prayers for the safety, productivity, and well-being of university personnel. As part of the ritual, coins were also scattered inside the facility - an act traditionally symbolizing prosperity, good fortune, and the hope that the space will bring continued abundance, stability, and positive outcomes for its users and the institution.
University officials said the initiatives reflect MinSU’s continued commitment to employee welfare alongside institutional development, emphasizing that improved working conditions contribute to more efficient and responsive public service delivery.
They added that the upgrades form part of the university’s broader efforts to modernize campus facilities while ensuring that faculty and staff are provided with supportive and functional work environments.
