In a display of unity and committed stride, Mindoro State University Bongabong Campus joined the ASEAN Month and 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary on September 7 with a campus-wide display of cultural pride, unity, and commitment to public service.
The celebration featured an ASEAN-inspired parade around the campus grounds, followed by the flag ceremony and an opening program with messages from Ms. Joanne Marie O. Sapinit, President of the MBCEA; Hon. Enrique T. Magalay, Jr., MinSU Faculty Regent; and Dr. Mary Jeane S. Lubos, Campus Executive Director.
The highlight of the celebration featured the launching and signing of the Commitment Wall, where members of the MinSU Bongabong community expressed their collective commitment to the values of service, solidarity, and responsibility.
More than a celebration of ASEAN culture and public service, the activity reminded the MinSU community that unity gains meaning when it is translated into action—and public service matters when it reaches the people it is meant to serve. (kpic)
