Mindoro State University (MinSU) concluded the three-day AACCUP Online/Hybrid Accreditation Survey Visit with a closing program held today, May 23, 2025, at the Calapan City Campus and via Zoom. The event gathered university officials, faculty members, and program chairs from across all campuses, marking the end of a rigorous evaluation conducted from May 21 to 23, 2025.
The accreditation survey was led by Dr. Ronnie N. Parica, Overall Coordinator of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) and professor from the University of Rizal System.
Dr. Parica commended the university for its thorough preparations, strong institutional support, and evident commitment to continuous quality improvement.
“It shows how dedicated you are in providing quality education and consistently improving what the university is offering,” Dr. Parica said during his impressions. “More than just meeting the standards, it reflects the passion of nurturing innovations and helping students develop real-world skills they need to succeed in business.”

University President Dr. Enya Marie D. Apostol expressed her appreciation to the AACCUP team, especially Dr. Parica, for their valuable insights and guidance. She emphasized the importance of accreditation in MinSU’s pursuit of academic excellence and quality assurance.
According to Dr. Apostol, AACCUP serves as a vital partner in helping the university deliver higher-quality education to the communities it serves. “Ang AACCUP ay isa sa mga tumutulong sa atin upang mas maging maayos, maganda, at mas mataas ang kalidad na ibinibigay natin sa mga taong nagtitiwala at naniniwala sa atin,” she stated.
She further assured that the university will closely consider the recommendations given, as these will serve as a “roadmap” for future improvements. “We will focus on your recommendations to become a better MinSU. We will continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of our university life,” she added.
Dr. Apostol also acknowledged the collaboration and dedication of the faculty and staff, which she described as a reflection of MinSU’s strong commitment to academic and institutional growth in service of those who believe in and trust the university.
The closing program concluded on a hopeful note, as the university community looks ahead to the official results and prepares to implement enhancements that will further elevate the quality and relevance of education at MinSU.
