Mindoro State University (MinSU) Victoria Campus concluded its Sports and Cultural Week: Sining at Sigla 2026 with an awarding ceremony on September 7, 2026 at the University Auditorium, capping a week-long celebration that began on August 24, 2026 under the theme, “Sining at Sigla: Paghabi ng Pamana, Pagtataguyod ng Kahusayan.”
Sining at Sigla 2026 brought the campus community together through sports, culture, and the arts—providing students with a platform to compete with excellence while celebrating the heritage and creativity that shape the MinSU community.
The event was jointly organized by the Office of Culture, Heritage and Arts, headed by Victoria Campus Deputy Director Mr. Ross Christian C. Manuel; the University Student Government Victoria Campus, led by Student President Mr. John Angel Fritz Baylon; and the Office of Sports and Wellness, headed by Victoria Campus Deputy Director Mr. Frens Lucky Delgado.
After days of competition across various sporting and cultural events, House Mayari emerged as the overall champion with 335 points, besting House Dumakulem with 305 points, House Apolaki with 273 points, and House Kaptan with 255 points.
The results, however, go beyond the scoreboard. Sining at Sigla 2026 demonstrated that excellence is not only measured by winning—it is built through participation, discipline, creativity, teamwork, and pride in one’s heritage. (kpic)
